I am an aspiring 3D Artist current living in Farmingdale, New York. I graduated from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, April of 2011, with a Bachelors of Science in Game Art. Before going to Full Sail I also went to a local school, which at the time was called Katherine Gibbs, where I got an Associates Degree in Game and Web Design.
Come college time, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to do, since I didn't really know that there we're schools out there that taught anything on the subject at the time, little did I know I was wrong. So eventually, after about a year of sitting at home messing about in Maya, I found out there was a school down the street from me that had a program in Game Design, which really was a misleading term since it was a generalist degree, and also the Web Design half, which was also not necessarily exciting to me. Fast forward to me having my degree, but yet I still wanted to know more about the field, which is how I ended up at Full Sail. Let me just say one thing, people can say whatever they want about the school, but if your not committed to your education, you will get your ass kicked by the quick pace and seemingly insurmountable amount of work that will be thrown at you. Needless to say, I made it through and now I'm back at home looking for work.
Oh, and I made a game, HERE, it was a fun and crazy ride working on that for 5 months and if I could do that for a living, well then I would be the happiest man in the world.
